Student Compass is a mobile application for out-of-town students. The client from Norwich, England came up with the idea to create an app that would help newcomers explore the city while getting exclusive rewards. A student with personalized loyalty cards could receive discounts or free goods at facilities that are available in the application.
The client reached out to us to create the app concept, to design, build and deliver a brand new user-friendly app. The Client at that point only developed a brand book with colors and fonts.

Challenges
We focused on analyzing all popular applications in the UK before thinking about solutions. Based on real data and observations, we created assumptive User Personas for the students, analyzing their goals, needs, interests, and problems. Next, we sketched a User Flow to understand the customer journey in a future application. This allowed us to easily identify all the scenarios that the user had to face, optimize and improve the user experience.
